What we collect
Three things. Your email address if you subscribe to the monthly issue. Whatever you type into the contact form. And aggregate page counts, which are collected without cookies and cannot be tied back to a person.
We do not run advertising, we do not embed third party trackers, and we have never sold or shared a subscriber list. There is no account to create on this site, so there is no password to lose.
Why we keep it
- Email addresses, to send the monthly issue. Unsubscribing deletes the record, not just the flag.
- Contact form messages, kept for two years so corrections stay traceable, then deleted.
- Page counts, kept in aggregate for three years to decide what to review next.
Who else sees it
Our email delivery provider and our hosting provider, both of which process data on our instruction and neither of which may use it for anything else. Nobody else. If that ever changes, this page changes first, with a date.
Your choices
Write to admin@nichereviewpress.com and ask for a copy of what we hold, a correction, or a deletion. One of the two people named on the masthead will answer, usually within two working days and always within 30 days.

Using the site
Read anything here for free. Quote up to 150 words of a review with a link back, no permission needed. Reproducing a full article, a scorecard, or a comparison table requires written permission, which we grant to trade publications for a small annual fee and refuse to anyone who wants to edit the numbers.
What a review is
Every score is our opinion, formed from the measurements described in the piece and the weights published in the methodology. Products change after we test them. Prices change faster. A review states the date it was published and the version or model tested, and we do not guarantee it still describes what you can buy today.
Nothing here is professional advice. If a purchase depends on a regulatory, financial, or safety requirement specific to your situation, check that requirement with someone qualified to answer it.
Commercial relationships
There are none that touch editorial. No affiliate links, no sponsored posts, no paid placements, no pre publication review by manufacturers. The full policy is on the about page.
Liability
We take care to be accurate and we correct errors in public. We are not liable for a purchasing decision made on the basis of a review, and the site is provided as it is, without a warranty that it will always be available or free of mistakes.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Disputes go to the courts of England and Wales.
